About Peter
Dr Peter Thompson. You deal with him directly.
BlueWing Local Marketing is run personally by Dr Peter Thompson from Lonehill, Sandton. He takes on no more than ten monthly clients, so he does the work himself.
Background
Peter’s background.
- A PhD in science.
- Corporate marketing at Bayer and BASF South Africa.
- Owner of the My Destination Johannesburg franchise.
- Virtual tours for Johannesburg attractions, including Maropeng and the Sterkfontein Caves in the Cradle of Humankind, and SAB World of Beer.
- Many years helping Johannesburg businesses be found on Google Search and on their Google Business Profile.
Why AI visibility
Customers now ask an assistant first.
More customers now ask ChatGPT or Google’s AI who to use before they look at any website. What worked on Google still applies. Your facts need to be accurate and the same everywhere, so that a machine can check them.
How Peter works
- He explains everything in plain English.
- He drafts your pages from an interview with you, for you to shape and approve, and checks every change. Your developer does the building.
- His prices are fixed and he doesn’t give discounts.
- He checks honestly and never promises a ranking.
- Every result is dated and shown to you.

★★★★★
“Three months after signing up with Peter, our diary was filled to capacity for the entire month of January. A colleague pointed out we had 16 new clients in just three days. When I asked them how they found us, an impressive number said Google.”
★★★★★
“Peter has changed my business without buying a single adword. Of the 30-plus calls a day we now get, 28 come from Google. In hard Covid times we had more work than we knew what to do with.”
These results come from Peter’s Google work, before his move into AI visibility. The same approach applies to AI: accurate facts, the same wherever they appear.
